Strange Bump On My Neck...What Is It?

thats exactly my description too! i got so worried, but now i see that others have this problem. mine doesnt hurt unless i push on it really hard. sometimes i can feel it if my neck gets really stiff or something. but it doesnt really bother me.

I am 15 and I have had one of these for as long as I can remember. It is hard about 2 inches and moves a little when I touch it. I asked my mom who is a physical therapist and she told me not to worry and that it would go away but I still don't know about this.

I really want it to go away but I don't know how. Please help
