Strange Lump On Gums - Concerned!

:-( Well I have the same problem but my bump is under a moler on which I have a cavity on its a bump that's hard and it doesn't hurt when I touch it what it did do is push my moler up what do think it could be?

I JUST RECENTLY GOT A LIL RED BUMP ON THE UPPERSIDE OF MY GUM BUT IT DOESNT HURT ALL THAT BAD IM JUST WORRIED CUS ITS THE 1ST FOR ME TO HAVE A BUMP ON MY GUM AND IM ON MY PERIOD IM JUST STRESSD AND GOING CRAZY 8-|

I noticed a small white puss filled bump on my bottom gum a few months ago, and it didn't bother me for the few days it appeared, and it either burst or went away before it became a concern. I didn't think much of it because I recalled that such a bump came when I was an adolesent or young adult, and some years ago it did that too (I'm now 51). But this time, the bump comes back after clearing up for a few days or as long as a couple of weeks, and I've noticed that a blood bump is beneath it; I think the blood bump is more swelling since these more recent series of bumps have always been in the exact same spot. I've noticed that it comes out after consuming a lot of orange juice. I'm not certain that's the cause, but i'm giving up the oj to see if another comes back after I pop this one. I do suffer with mild peridontosis, and have had a good bit of dental work, including a crown that broke the underlying tooth, requiring the tooth to be removed, located on the other side of my mouth while the blood bump was present, and two dentist should have noticed it, but neither said anything about it, and one of the doctors was a oral and maxillofacial surgeon. I was so focused on the broken tooth, that i completely forgot to mention the bump.

Most likely it's an abscess. Take a look at the tooth above the lump and see if your gum line has receded. If the gum line has receded and your roots are exposed it's most likely an infection under your tooth that's causing it.

Lumps that are next to one another in a group --- The HPV virus that causes genital warts can cause warts in other area's of your body. Those area's being the soft tissue on the inside of your mouth, anus, etc.

Prevention goes a far way in the medical world so as soon as you find something abnormal consult with a trained physician for advice, don't try to self diagnose. Many people die every year because they incorrectly diagnose themselves with a mild problem when it happens to be severe.

you should definatly tell your parents. i am a parent, and to think that either of my children were not telling me anything (big or small) makes me feel really quite sad.

i have a bubble its white purple redish its squishy and it hurts. Its on the bottom left of my mouth and i can feel it hurt in my jaw near m chin towards the left more now i only had it for 2 days and it seems to be getting worse i dont know wat to do i can push the bubble in and it dosent do anything except for hurt wtf is wrong with me :-( HELP!!

Help... im a male and im 14 yrs old and i have a device called the herbst appliance and a week ago i ate a crunchy cookie, then later that day i noticed a bumb behind my bottom front teeth,it doesnt hurt but when i press on it puss comes out, i think its a mouth pinple. someone please tell me what it could be.!!

i'm 16 years old and am experiancing a bump that has grown on the inside of my bottom lip.

im not sure what it is and am currently freaked out about all the possibilities of what it might be.

its not pussing or anything it almost looks like a blister on the inside of my lip but i just learned that this is no blister it wont pop. it doesn't hurt but it is getting larger. i dont feel anything moving in it i just feel a small bubble. anyone with a possible clue please let me know.

It sounds like a mucocele (mucous cyst). I've had two on my inner lower lip. The doctor offered to remove them but I opted not to as he said they'd eventually go away, which they did. I suspect I have another one on my gums, but it could be something else. I think every little thing is cancer.
