Hi Ladies; I have developed the same problem, which is how I stumbled upon this thread searching for answers.
I got my first, terrible UTI a couple months ago when having intercourse for the first time with my current partner. I got it treated and it went away - afted leaving a vaginal imbalance tat caused a vaginal infection to treat- and I took precautions such as urinating after intercourse EVERYTIME, but just the weekend before last I forgot and it happened again! Last week I was put on Azo-Standard (phenazopyridine) for the pain of urination - and believe me - it was way worse this time, with blood and everything scaring me to death - and a 7-day treatment of Sulfameth / Trimethoprim. The doctor said 3 days would probably be enough. I'm starting day 6 - and while things cleared u pfor a bit, these strange need to urinate and overstimulated all-over-area feelings are occuring off and on. I do NOT like this.
I completely eliminated my daily cups of coffee and chocolates due to the sugars and caffeine. Since this started, I drink Apple Cider Vingear mixed with water. I take Cranberry Pills and Probiotics. I'm using Tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) on my lady bits to calm and soothe them (which I reccommend to you as well). I can't really get a reliable check up until the antibiotics are out of my system, but when I do I hope to find out more about this phenomenon. I'm hoping it's a strange vaginal infection due to the antibiotics killing off the good vaginal flora. I will update if I find anything.

An update: It turns out my doctor screwed up and gave me antibiotics that the UTI bacteria I had was/were resistant to, so I had a UTI for 2 weeks straight, though it felt a much less than a UTI and only felt strange off and on. Again, tea tree oil on my lady parts and juicing helped. But, in the end, I feel better now that I've completed the proper antibiotics. For me, it was bacteria and an untreated UTI. Less sugar and caffeine in my diet helped too.Sorry I can't be much more help. Good luck to everyone - it's quite maddening.

I've had this same thing for almost 3 weeks, but with lots of cramping. One doctor put me on antibiotics for 7 days for a uti and I'm 4 days in. The strange arousal feeling has gotten less noticable, but is still there and I think it's causing me serious depression as I feel its never going away. I'm glad to hear at least one person has found releif from this. I'm scared to death of PGAD, if you haven't searched it up, don't. It will drive you mad.
