What was tour outcome? Is it possible you had a yeast infection after all those antibiotics. It could cause some of the feelings and issues you’re having. Just curious about an update

Everyone with these issues should get tested for mycoplasma and ureaplasma. They are huge culprits and doctors NEVER test for them

I am having the same problems as well right now. Did you ever find out what was causing it? I’ve been terrifying myself on google thinking I have bladder cancer.

Hi everyone. I‘m so sorry to hear we are all suffering the same symptoms. Urinary tract infections are often more complicated then „antibiotics and done“. For one, it can take a while for the bladder to fully heal, even though there’s no more bacteria around. Bladder problems can be linked to psychological issues (like anxiety.. and at some point you run in circles there) but also - and this I find very important- muscle tensions. Having the urge to urinate constantly leads to a constant tension of the muscles of the pelvic floor (muscles that also get tense and contract before and during an orgasm) in order to „hold in“ the urine. A few things I have learned so far and that could help if symptoms stay even though the bacteria are gone: Gentle massage of the lower stomach, applying gentle pressure on the pubic bone - does it feel tense? Like a screaming, sharp pain? Losen the muscles inside the vagina. You can use your finger, apply gentle pressure to the sides of the vagina - does it hurt? Do you feel tension and tensed ligaments? You can try losen up the muscles yourself or - and that is what I recomment highly to anyone after an uti- see an osteopath. Not only can the tension of these muscles cause the constantly aroused, tickling feeling, they can also cause a slight missplacement of the pelvis which then could irritate the bladder nerve. If you need a quick but often shortterm release applying heat on your pelvic floor can help release tension temporarily (try putting a warm hotwater bottle between your legs. If this helps instantly it is also a sign that muscle tensions are at the root of the problem)
Meditation can help with anxiety caused by bladder issues. And also.. walks. Try to get out, start with small walks just around your house, slowly extend your walking distance bit by bit, make sure you stay warm.
Hope this helps. Wishing you all the best!!

My Jewish neighbor lady just gave me a tip to try Corn Silk capsules or corn silk tea as an all natural treatment. Also, peppermint oil capsules for the stomach inflammation from all the antibiotics.

After doing urine and swab test, it comes out to be UTI. Why?

I see these posts are a old, but I am having similar issues and it’s causing a lot of anxiety. I had a uti a couple months ago and things have not been right since. I have periods of feeling aroused for no reason. When I drink alcohol the feeling happens as well as feeling of fullness. I am urinating a lot more now, and intercourses has been causing discomfort. I’ve done a lot of research. My obgyn said everything looked good and I could follow up with a urologist.

To everyone with this problem!!!

I had the same problem and started taking D-mannose powder (pure form). I got mine from Complete Natural Products. Took a week, but the problem is gone.

I had reoccurring uti. After a uti I had in 2020 I started getting spasms. Went to urologist and gave me oxybutinin. I never took it though. I found a product called uqora and have use for a year. No more spasm or uti. Took a couple months to see best results. Only bad thing is I stopped uqora in November and got another uti 2 months later and currently taking antibiotics l. Uqora works but you have to keep using. so this is definitely worth trying. I recommend the pills(daily) and flush drink (every other day for first month then 2-3x weekly, and after every time you have intercourse or heavy exercise) Hope this helps.
