It seems I’ve strained my quadriceps muscles. I feel tightness in the right tight. It is not swollen, but I’ve have problems when I run. I am active athlete and I have 3 hours daily practices. I am not sure what to do about it. I need some advice about this strain. Please!
It sounds to me like you have 1st degree muscle strain. You need to see a doctor about it because it is important for you to understand what damage has been done so you can treat the injury correctly. Try to relive the pain with compression bandage or heat retainer. Ease down on training for a week or two and if the pain is still there see a sports injury professional.
I had pain in my right ankle a month ago and the md told me it was a strian after examing an x ray of the ankle. He asked me to sock it in warm water for 15min 6 time daily and rap it with a compression bandage,and elevate the leg for 4 days.
I did that and it started to feel better and as soon i stert to walk on the leg again, the pain will resume all over again. This is the fourth week and i still can not walk on the leg. They have been a period of remission and exacebation with this leg especially when i go back to work.
