I hear you. I just had my second "worm or snake" connecting fecal matter for me. Have IBS......diagnosed. What the heck ! I take fiber, some supplements, and given up dairy and wheat. I might be starving these guys OUT. Its a long story to report, but I am so tired of doctors charging , ordering meds, and no REAL. Solution .
I have now my second string. Weird. Kind of scary. Been sick for 6 months on\off. What the heck. Almost afraid to say anything to anybody. Not sure I can. But I better tell. "Gut doc" and GP. Meeting with them this month.
Im having the same problems. I've had a upper and lower gi done. The dr told me i have colonitist, gastritis and diverticulitis. The top lining of my stomach is pretty much gone due to all the infection and that i have scar tissue built up in my stomach and abdomen. He wanted to do surgery asap but i decided to get a second opinion. I go days even up to a week with out being able to go to the bathroom. I take all kinds of stool softners and laxatives and they don't work. I have sat for over an hr trying to go and the pain is so bad that at times i have cried. Hope you can get a new Dr and they find out what the problem is.
No offense but to the person that answered above. You tell her fiber from food? Ppl and drs like u ruined my health and life by saying parasites are rare! Or its food! Do u not read up on medical journals after u graduate? PRESIDES are rampant in the USA!
