Hmmm this is strange I just noticed the same thing in mine. Here is my history: I've been "diagnosed" with irritable bowel syndrome. I go days sometimes without pooping I have to drink lots of water & eat tons of good foods! However even in doing this I end up with horrible gas all day long that I cannot control. Also it builds up in my stomach but than I can't release it. Than it just releases when it "feels like doing so". It's quite embarrassing, as I am a very clean person. I'm aware of this problem I even eat fresh food foods...well, my historybid: in an attempt to rid of this gas, I was thinking that maybe I was so backed up so I took a laxative on Friday night around 9 PM. I awoke Saturday at 7 Am & started defacating. This went on until around 9:30 AM; & I pooped three times. The rest of the week is as follows: raised bran with half banana, three prunes, & a few canned peaches or pears with coconut milk in morning. Coffee, of course; about 16 ounces. Lunch is a sundried tomato wrap every other day with turkey, lettuce & tomato, & orange along with coconut water. The next day is a salad; lettuce tomato & garlic croutons with ranch dressing and either mint tea or coconut water every other day. Or a tuna fish with lettuce salad & slices of cheese sundries tomato wrap once a week, all along with a fresh orange. For a snack I'll eat an oatmeal with cherry & chocolate bar along with a 12 ounce coffee with non dairy creamer & sugar, of course. Dinner is; baked chicken with melted mozzarella with canned tomatoes & basil baked over top with homemade mash potatoes with garlic powder butter salt pepper and broccoli with either butter or cheese & garlic powder. Or fried pork chops with teriyaki sauce & mixed Chinese stir fry veggies. Snack was fresh cantaloupe. also baked meatloaf (did not precook & drain fat though), with melted mozzarella with ketchup over top, meatloaf had garlic bread crumbs mixed in with spinach onions fresh chopped garlic & eggs, along with homemade skins on mash potatoes with butter made with milk & added garlic powder...I eat a few small prunes at night, too. I also take two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar along with 3/4 glass of water and two capsules of garcinia gambogia, & calcium magnesium pulls. In early am I take Lysine pills, Prilosec pills, & Zyrtec pills. In evening I usually drink about two shots of whiskey, or sometimes a tomato beer. Also I'll have a cup of rhubus tea in evening sometimes with French vanilla creamer. I heard that coconut water can kill parasites...I've been drinking maybe 2 cans of coconut water with pulp a week, but I'm going to start drinking at least four a week. .....I noticed these exact same description of "yarn like strings" in my poop today (after said laxative from 5 days ago), today, in my poop. Along with that was a big piece of corn; which I haven't eaten for I cannot remember really. So...I'm assuming that all of the above diet, especially the coconut water & prunes may very well be cleaning out my colon...?? But what are these fiver type things?!? Really they do NOT look or feel like anything I've ever eaten...they are hard almost like sticks...but brown...?! This, along with the corn...(that I can't even remember eating last)?may be some old "backed up" stuff?!? Are these worms? I believe that "IBS" may just be a side affect of more serious problems; such as backed up colon, or worms. To me that makes so much more sense!! Can someone advise? Or you with stringy fiber poop...what did u eat that week??? Maybe it's aimiliar to what I've eaten? HELP!!
The white stringy stuff is candida. It can cause IBS. It's a b***h to get rid of but in the end the payoff is worth it. She'll have to go on a really strict anti-candida diet and take probiotics and antifungals. I highly recommend SF722 and S. Boulardii along with more probiotics.
