EVERYBODY PLEASE READ THIS!!! I have and AM experiencing everything all of you have experienced with your teeth due to Suboxone. Everything that was in the top of my mouth has been removed and I have a dental plate and I am only 34 years old. All of my bottom teeth are gonna need to be taken out but I cannot afford the dental work. Just about 30 minutes ago I read an article that the FDA put out in January 2022 that they acknowledge that there could be a connection between the two and that they are only aware of 300 cases of Suboxone affecting peoples teeth and only half of them had “severe tooth decay” to where they need one or two teeth removed. If you have been on Suboxone long enough you and I both know that is a load of horseshit. You can’t turn around and tell people 10-15 years later after people don’t have teeth anymore “oh yeah, this medicie might have an effect on your teeth but then not tell anybody until everybody’s toothless. The damn tooth fairy won’t even take my teeth because their too broken disgusting. I will not stop going after the makers of this medication until I get justice and I can smile at my children andMy family the way I was able to do before. So if any of you would like to help me join this and we can come together and be a united front please contact me and let’s get this going.
I’m almost in the same boat , been on it 4 yrs , teeth I have left are a huge mess , gums are swollen and it just stinks , it’s the acidity of the medicine that destroys your teeth fast … so now I just got a deep cleaning on the one side of my mouth and have to go back in a few days for them to do other half , then most likely it’s off to the oral surgeon to get about 6-7 teeth out ( some at gum level ) and get my temp partial or denture put in , I know this post is old but did you get put under or did u stay awake , how did your procedure go , im sure your all healed up now and able to smile and eat better then before

Anybody hear the FDA just put a warning on Suboxone for tooth decay? That's great and all but what about us who've been on it for 12 years and need MAJOR dental work. Most likely a my entire mouth redone.

I’ve spent thousands on dental work, since I’ve been on Suboxone. I would love to get some relief/ help with the dental bills. My dentist told me about the correlation, it makes sense with having to dissolve r the med in the mouth but, a warning and precaution and another avenue to take the medication!
