Suboxone Class Action??? $2K dental bill!!

I agree with you so much now that my gums are receding every single tooth has complete rot under the gum line which is devastating for me I wish I could show you a picture I stopped taking it as soon as I realized how bad it was for my teeth but my dentist already said you need 14 root canals you're pretty much f***** already the thing that's crazy is it's worse than smoking crack everyday and not brushing your teeth for a month to take it just one time what they should tell you is use it just for a couple weeks to get off dope but they push it long-term and that's where the lawsuit needs to come in place so I think the doctors need to be sued more than the drug maker. But the bill sh*t is it had me in a loop of barely functioning cause you are always boredeline dope sick on that nasty tasting orange c**p.

Same I want to sue them my teeth are all rotting out after 1 year on this c**p I never wanted to take it long and everyone kept pushing it on me like there was nothing wrong with it. I’m worried my teeth aren’t salable!! I want to sue!!

Hello, I was on suboxone for 6.5 years and I have a crazy dental bill. I’m disgusted that nobody warned us! I recently came across a woman on social media who is trying to get us compensated with dental coverage. You are not alone. My teeth were by far my best feature. Everyone always complimented my big, beautiful smile and white teeth. Now I’m missing 2, need 5 root canals and I’m hoping they stick (I’ve heard of people having paid for the root canal and had to get the tooth pulled anyway) as well as 2 veneers plus I’m going through a remineralization process to try and strengthen my teeth and will whiten them in about 3 years (I’m 37 now, this isn’t fair). Wishing everyone the best. Please look up the new FDA warning on dental problems with this medication.

Hello I have lost almost all of my teeth but 8. I've been on it for 10 yrs. I told my Dr years ago I thought it was suboxone, but they kept saying it was not a side effect of this drug. Now the FDA states that it is and the 8 I have left are going bad and all this since I started suboxone. I am soo angry and humiliated. I agree power and numbers we need to sue!

was on Suboxone for a full 9 years+ During which I finished my degree as a dental assistant, worked at several dental practices & OF COURSE meticulous with my teeth. Patients and strangers alike commented on my smile. I have pictures from that time in school + working and please feel free to authenticate these pics(They are from 2010 and not a cell phone pic, I found them in a box and they were the actual picture that looked like someone had developed at a drugstore. I asked my doctor who prescribed the Suboxone at the time had she had any reports of tooth problems?? Because I was starting to rapidly see problems and my enamel seemed thin & fragile. I started losing my back teeth first, was given cheap I’ll fitting partials that slip out, a couple of years ago to my horror it started having decay and rotting in my anterior FRONT teeth and RAPIDLY they just have decayed and crumbled and I look like a monster. I would like compensation just to get the proper dental work paid for and GOOD dental work, dentures won’t fix this, I know dentures are hell from past patients and especially Medicare dentures, so I would like implants (or if dentures, with the 4 mini implants where dentures are snapped on)
This has ruin my life. I’ve been trying to hide the decay in the from with fittting beads for SO LONG.
And it’s sad there is no way I would EVER tell anyone I meet I had a career in the dental field because it’s too humiliating with decayed teeth & I LOVED my career in the dental field at one time. PLEASE HELP. I have pictures to prove my teeth in 2010 vs my teeth 2022.

Who ever said that Suboxone is a poison is absolutely right. Suboxone has pretty much ruined my LIFE. $20,000 to fix my teeth and I do not have that money. How can we start a class action lawsuit and get some money to help restore our teeth and our lives?

One year after this thread was posted- I was on opiates for 2 years due to a bad back- NO I NEVER GOT DRY MOUTH ON THEM- nobody EVER told me subs ruin your teeth I have a phenomenal dental hygiene and a record of it- in 2 years since being on subs my teeth are RUINED!!!!! they’re like Swiss cheese Because we are told to hold out meds in our mouth or cheek for 45 mins before AND after dosing….. if you dose 2-3 daily……. It doesn’t matter how great your dental hygiene is if your putting something on your teeth that causes decay THEYRE GOING TO DECAY! I was never told it caused dental problems until 2 months ago happened to google because I was baffled why my teeth were so bad suddenly. Because addiction wasn’t a bad enough punishment

Guys. FDA just put on Suboxone causes severe tooth decay. I knew they were ruining my teeth but all the doctors kept saying no it’s trhe years of opioid usage. Go to top class actions and fill out the file a class action suit. Of enough of us do this it may happen. I want my teeth fixed. I have been on suboxone for three years. I have always had excellent hygiene. In the last year I have lost 9 teeth, sometimes whole as if they break right from my gumline. I have over $40k in dental repairs. Since the teeth are visible when I smile , I never leave my home. It is so embarrassing. The VA started me on subs but because I am only 70% for PTSD, the VA does not cover dental. I am looking into implants in India because it is cheaper. I can not live with constant tooth pain and headaches. Suboxone has a disclaimer but I do not feel it accurately represents the damage suboxone does. I woulda rather been an addict with my teeth than my current quality of life. Things are 100x worse because of what suboxone does to teeth.

I to have been on subs for years my teeth are crumbling away. I take good care of my teeth. When I put stipe in my mouth it hurts my teeth. I rinse after strip desolves then brush my dentist told me I was grinding my teeth, so I purchased a mouth guard.
I knew i wasn't grinding my teeth but had to prove to dentist. So what do we do. I believe they make bueprenorphine pills for pain but doctors tell me you must have an allergic reaction to Suboxone strip in order to change I believe my teeth rotting away is a good enough reason
