I'm a programmer living in Florida, and have several very specific questions. My girl and I have been addicted to Methadone for the past two years. Lasdt year we decided to get off it, and the only way that was possible was to take Roxicodone and Oxycodone, when available, to get off the Methadone. It took the better half of a year before the horribl methadone withdrawals left, and now we have to deal with the roxicodone. Now we're taking appx. three to four 30 mg roxicodones per day, and in the past two years haven't even so much as thought about abysing the medicaztion for the high. wE WANT OFF THIS SO BAD. My quality of life is so low I've considered euthinasia. I just can't take the burning feeling, the anxiety, hot cold, hot cold. I really give up I just want to die so bad. Taking my life seems like the only option--I refuse--REFUSE!!!!! to trade this addiction for another like Methadone in some maintenance therapy. I'd rather die. But, now I'm hearing about suboxine, and maybe there;s a chance I can save myuself and my girl. Here are my questions: is suboxine just replacement therapy, or can you really use it to kick this habit for good. If so, how long does it take. We have the money. Also, my fiance is addicted to xanax-about 1 1/2 bars per day--is there anything, a patch or something, tjhat can help her kick this. Sorry about the bad grammer here--I just can't take it can't take it. I mean for god's sake, I wrwite programs sometimes three four thousands lines long, and I'm so sick right now I can't hit the right keys. I have meds, but I can';t take another for two more hours becayuse of this scheduling I've been on....forever....abd which isn't working. Please--I believe in my fellow man--anbd I hope someone will answer my questions. This is a last ditch effort to save my life. Otherwise, I don't know what to do. What are some painless methods of...relieving yourself of this hell. I hate myself for doing this to myself...I guess I deswerve this in many ways. But anyways,
\don't feel sorry for me...just answer myt post please....good or bad news, just what you know FOR SUIRE.
Thanks,
jAMES wILLIAM dYER
I was not clear on what the date on your post was, so don't know if this would be relavant to your. You can acually get away with doing suboxon for short lenths of time with no withdrawls at all. Large does for long periods of time can be preaty bad, and last a long time if stoped ebrubtly. I know methadone takes along time to withdraw from and is supposed to be really bad. I don't know about roxicdone, but know people that say they have withdarwled over a mouth on Oxcodone, though I think ten days is more typical. YOU might want to try taking soboxon at the lowest does that relieves your system for a couple of weeks and then tappering down. If you can pull this off you might have no withdrawl systems, or much less severe systems than you would have on methadone or oxcodone.  The one thing that does seem to ketch people by suprise with soboxon is though the withdrawls are not as bad they can last long time. I have usally felt better in 10 to 14 days though I have never done them that long or at high does. I have used them many times with no, or allmost no withdrawls at all, but if you keep doing this it ketches up with you. A lot of people that detox off dope with or preciptoin drugs with suboxon make the mistake of thinking they have an easy out and going back to what ever they where useing befor. If you do this enough times you will find yourself having withdrawls from suboxon. Anyway form what your saying suboxon might be a good idea. Good luck.
