I'm supposed to take 12mg of suboxone per day, but get the effects I need from only 8mg. I've had as many as five beers while taking my 8mg and I've never had any breathing problems. I do wait about twelve hours after taking the Suboxone before I'll drink the beers though. I have had a feeling of light-headedness though. I'm no doctor. So don't quote me on this, but I think that if you're just having 2-4 beers a night and not slamming them; you'll be fine. Just take it slow to make sure your body has time to give you the warnings you need. No shots and no drinking games. I don't know what to tell anyone about wine. Frankly, I'd rather not drink at all than to drink wine. I can't stand the taste or the way that sh*t makes me feel. If I were Jesus, I'd have turned the water into beer instead of wine, and it would've made Heineken seem more like Lonestar.

I think the doctors and pharmaceutical companies are feeding us a load of c**p when they say that Suboxone is a painkiller that's stronger than Morphine. I'm getting by ok without the oxycodons, but my back still hurts like a son of a b***h. Now that I'm on Suboxone, I've noticed pain in places besides my back, which is my original problem that led to my painkiller addiction. Suboxone doesn't help me with pain worth a damn. To test that, I've stopped the Suboxone a couple times for as much as a week. I had some withdrawal, but my physical pain didn't get worse, and when I started taking it again; it didn't get any better. Suboxone is for withdrawal symptoms only. Doctors are not heroes. They are merchants that are after our money and make tons and tons more of it than us. We shouldn't believe everything they tell us just because they have a high education. There's still the fact that they have to cover their own asses, they're constantly being controlled by the DEA (government bastards), and they don't make as much money by thinking in the interests of the patient.
