That sounds like an allergic reaction to alcohol. You should speak to your GP
Did anyone on this board take benzodiazepines for more than 2-4 weeks at a time? I have a sneaking suspicion that prolonged use of benzodiazepines destroy the gaba receptors in the brain, disrupting the flow of brain chemistry (the release of serotonin, dopamine, etc) so you basically feel the hangover instantly, without getting the euphoria released from the GABA stimulation that benzos do. This could perhaps also happen with over use of marijuana? Thoughts?
