I can trace the swollen-ness to base of my penis, on the left side. There is NO pain unless I have gas. I can gently massage the swelling and it will go away, with very minor discomfort. The swelling is not contant.
The other day, previous to a bowel movement, the swelling was painful. Once I had urinated and defecated, the swelling and pain went away.
Any suggestions as to what the problem may be and to any therapy ?

I can trace a swollen area to the left hand side of my penis when walking for a long time or standing on my feet for a time, this gets very pain full with in 30 minutes of walking approx.
