I had an accident a month and a half ago. I hurt my leg. The doctor told me that I have to rest and should not lean on that foot for a while. Since walking and running are out of the question I am thinking of swimmin. What do you think about swimmin with foot fracture?
Since a month and a half has passed I see no problem in swimming. Actually, swimming is recommended as a rehabilitation tool for many injuries. Therefore you can only benefit from it. You have to take it slowly and restrain from vigorous kicks with that foot. Also, you have to be careful when walking in the pool/sea and going out. It goes without saying that you should not jump (unless you intend to jump from the other foot). But, above all check with your doctor first.

You should ask your doctor before doing anything, he will know the best for your feet and only he can determine if you are ready to swim.
