I know this is going to sound gross, but its really starting to worry me.
Yesterday and today, my outer labia on the left side has been very swollen - nearly twice its normal size - and painful. My clitoral hood is also slightly swollen and itchy. I do not have any unusual discharge, and my period ended about four or five days ago. I am currently sick with what I would assume to be the flu. Any advice on how to get rid of the swelling? :-( It's really worrying me.
Also, I have never had sex, so i'm fairly certain that it isn't an STD.

This is something can can only be checked out by a visit to a doctor or clinic, in person.
I'm an experienced adult, not a medical professional, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't dream of trying to offer a diagnosis on something like this without that visit. It may be embarassing, but we've all been embarassed over this stuff: it just goes with the territory.
