From what you had described, your symptoms, it sound to me you might have contracted the type C- Glabrata yeast infection. This form of yeast is very rare and most doctors don't know anything about it, therefore; don't know how to cure it.

Hi there, I know you posted this a while back, but wondered if you could help? I've had this problem for nearly 4 years now, and fear it may be too late. It started with the burning in vulva, clitoris...everywhere! At the time I thought it was just a really bad UTI, then it calmed down after two weeks, but I was left with a clitoris that was sensitive to touch, almost like a raw feeling. I don't recall it being swollen like everyone else reports and it's protected in hood, so doesn't rub on underwear and can walk without it hurting, just cannot be touched directly and limits sex! I'm not sure if it's the same condition you had, but I do seem to get thrush regularly and didn't before, so would like to give this diet a go. Half your weight in water every day though?!! Is that essential?! When you say some women can't tolerate Evian, what does it do to them?! Did you ever eat out or eat at friends etc or just super strict? What made you decide to change your diet? Was it recommended by a health professional or just common sense? I'm a gardener and my work is very physical plus already very slim, so feel if I cut out sugar I'll waste away! I'm having the same issue, my clitoris hood is inflamed, and when I pull it back it looks like there is like white discharge that is dry around and under as well. The inside of my labia is appearing to be torn on one side. I'm producing a strange discharge. I keep thinking that my toilet paper is getting stuck inside my outer lips. It's itchy and sore in some areas and the skin around my outer lips looks like it's peeling. I have no clue what's going on and am afraid to go to the doctor. Vagisil makes it burn as well. I am just the opposite. I never masturbate, therefore; I think my clitoris is missing altogether. Lol... That is your clitoris! I'd never heard the term 'hood' before last week and I'm in my 30's! But it's there and also not having one wouldn't take a libido away seeing as it's not where our hormones come from...

I had stinging and itching with no discharge, starting when I was in my mid 60's. The pain was unbearable. I saw my (female) gynecologist and she said I had some white patches on my labia. She did a biopsy was diagnosed with lichen schlerosis. She prescribed clobetasol, which is an ointment. It did stop the itching and burning. If I wear slacks and sit a lot, it irritates the area and comes back. Sex is not an option since my aging skin has thinned and tears. skin has grown over my clitoris, and has also partially fused over my urethra. I can still urinate, but cannot see the opening. I bought a book called "The V Book" which has a lot of information about female genitalia. I do not know anyone else with this problem and I hate it.
I have herpes too and my clit hood seems to be extremely swollen and very red and raw, but no blister I can see. Does that sound about what you're talking about? It itches like crazy. I have only had it for like a year so still learning. Thanks.
