i just had a surgery the 19th of march 2010, im still recovering from it. I had a lump on the right side of my groin in the crease, so i had that removed the 19th the only hard part about recovering from surgery with the stitches is that the stitches could possibly stretch, mine did im going to have the wound packed tomorrow. the hole that opened is about the size of a nickle. im 15 and a female
hello im a 19 year old female i have no kids n good health the only problem is that on the right side of my groin its a swollen knot very tender some times it goes down most of the time it doesnt its been here swollen for about 4months bt i have had this not for more then a year now they go away in come back. i went to the doc he told me it was a swollen lymph node he gave me meds to take for it after i took the med a month later it went down now its back swollen its so big now if i rub on it to rough it would purst n white fluids would come out. it hurts really bad now the skin came off the top layer n its swollen n pink like a pimple or something i really do no what to do i dnt have any insurance right now to see a doc so any help would be a big relief plz help...:( if u have any info u could email me ***this post is edited by moderator *** *** private e-mails not allowed **

I recommend each of you getting a Herpes Blood TEST! I know this may sound scary but often times people over look the issue you ladies explaining for common issues like hair bump, lymnode etc. I am no doctor, but that is what it sounds like. Many time people are walking around with Herpes and do not even realise symptoms you alll are explaining are period of break outs!

Hi there, i have noticed a lump on the side of my groin...im really scared my mother wont take me to get it looked at it doesnt hurt unless i push on it hard...can anybody answer this im in track and it seems to be fine i just realized it last night please help..
GET IT CHECKED WITH YOUR DOCTOR...IN 90% OF THE CASES ITS A SWOLLEN LYMPH NODE WHICH OCCUR DUE TO INFECTION, TB AND LYMPHOMA ( CANCER).
There are things calls boils that occur where there are sweat glands. They have a large tail inside that comes out when they bust. Or are surgically removed. My mother was plagued by them! You can try a compress with the hottest water u can handle right on the spot an have a look for any white head and apply some pressure to relieve the pus inside.

Hello. I noticed a large lump on my groin over 4 weeks now. I have had hardened knots ( 3-4 +) in my pelvic groin area. ( next to pubic hair line) The largest being 5.2 X 5.2 X 1.3 cm. They seem to be affixed to something. I have had no infections. It seems now the swelling in the area around the knots has diminished but the lumps are harder and more difined. I am also having pains in my groin area, my hip and lower back area, but not the knots themselves. I have no female reproductive organs. My family doctors seems to be stumped as they ordered two ultrasounds and I still have no answers. Waiting to get into a surgeon. Any insight or information about my condition would be GREATLY APPRECIATED . I concerned that it is cancer.
I have a lump on the left side of my groin and the doctor said it was because ,y undies were too tight and it was causing my nerve to knot up and recommended rubbing the lump with a hot towel to make it lose so it will go away...Ive been getting them on and off so I'm not sure if its true or not to whether or not blame my tight underwear..
wow, so easy they brush off what they do not know. I had this also. I used to get boils on the vagina, so I started juicing for 14 days and it all went away. Why did you have the surgery? What was wrong?
It may be a swollen lymphnode. Typically you'll get that after having some sort of infection but should def talk to your doctor
I'm having the exact same issue and my health insurance is c**p. I'm considering trying to remove the gland myself.
