I have currently been treated for a nasty rash on my vagina that they diagnosed as HSV, :-(. After 5 days of the antiviral they have cleared but I have a nasty swollen gland on the opening of the labia on the right hand side. Could this be a cyst? I have had a rough emotional two weeks trying to get myself better and have only just starting feeling the swollen gland when I wipe. Also how long after being treated for Herpes can I start to have sex with partner again?
I see that you posted this a while back, so maybe you can help me. I have had the itching, and swelling and blisters. My Dr is running a test now to see if I have contracted HSV as well. I have noticed that the inside of my vagina is VERY swollen, and it looks like it all might fall out. I presented to the clinic with a blister on the right labia, and she found many more upon doing a vaginal check. Have you experienced anything like this? I have been taking the medicine for almost 5 days, but I have NOT had much relief with the itching, and the swelling seems to get worse. Any thoughts would be helpful! Thanks!!
