Hi, my little boy has swollen lymphnode on neck. He feels warm, and I guess he is getting sick. Perhaps, he is getting tonsillitis, I am worried because he gets sick frequently. Could it be sign of tonsillitis?
Hi, my son got swollen lymph nodes when he had troath infection, generally enlarged lymph node means that there is an immune reaction going on in that specific region. Other symptoms must be considered to determine which disease is present. Your son could be having tonsillitis, but it can be some other kind of infection like upper respiratory infection, cold, mono, viral infection or bacterial. Even organs more distanced from neck could be effected like ears, sinus, dents or gums. But, when you notice anymore signs it will be easier to distinguish kind of infection. Small children can only cry and they are not able to say what’s troubling.
