I’m 34-year-old healthy woman.
In a past four months, I’ve noticed swollen lymphnodes on my body. They are swollen all through my body and most of the time are very painful.
I do not have any more symptoms but I do however have a very sore and achy body with a lot of fatigue.
It looks really dramatic and I’m really scared. What could be the reason? Could it be something serious?
First of all-no meter how dramatic it looks-it doesn’t have to be any serious problem.
Rarely it can be complication of something much more serious like lymphoma-malign tumor of lymphogenic tissue.
All symptoms you describe me leads to one trivial disease called CSD or Cat Scratch Disease so I can swear you have a cat or a dog.
Cat-scratch disease is a bacterial disease that results from a scratch or bite by a cat. Beside your symptoms, adults often have other symptoms such as low fever, tiredness, headache, and loss of appetite.
Most people recover on their own within three weeks.
Persons with severe pain or symptoms are sometimes treated with antibiotics.
