last night after sex, my bf's penis became very swollen under the head and all the way around. It wasnt painful but swollen. he put ice on it and the swelling went down but we are curious has to what may have caused it. Also he mentioned it felt like i had sandpaper inside me...the intercourse was scratchy. theres no pain on either of our parts. any ideas?
Hi Summer: I would hazzard a guess that there either wasn't enough lubrication OR after awhile the lubrication that was there evaporated - so to speak! It's funny that you are not hurting too, the vagina is ribbed - from the amount of muscles in there. So when your bf was "rubbing" inside of you it created a pretty sore environment. If this happens again, perhaps use a water based lubricant - NOT Vaseline! Good luck!
It's hard to tell what caused the rubbing. He may have stretched his frenulum a bit which is what caused the swelling. I think that the best thing for you to do is use lubricant next time and see what happens. If he still experiences problems after using lubricant, then there may be something happening. Anytime anything weird happens it's good to get checked out and tested. It sounds like you guys need to use more lube though. If friction is a problem for him, he could also try moisturizing every day with a penile lotion like Man1 Man Oil -- it could protect his skin from chafing so much.
