Hey all, well, I posted a few weeks back about getting diagnosed w/ a Lisfranc Injury. After lots of paperwork (worker's comp) my surgery has finally been approved and I'm scheduled to have it done this Thursday morning - hence the title of this post.

Not so scared of the surgery, but scared to death of the days, weeks, months afterwards. I am however looking forward to the move towards recovery.

I was hoping to get some opinions/experiences in regards to what you were/are able to do post surgery. I ask because I essentially live alone - have a roommate but he has a regular 9-5 job - so I'll be alone during the day. I'll be able to make do, right? I have family offering to put me up for awhile, but I'd much rather be in the comfort of my own home and get to sleep in my own bed, you know? Any advice?

Well, D-day is just around the corner, wish me luck. :-)

(looks like I'll be doing my holiday shopping on-line this year....)
hey there! how is it going? i had my surgery nov 7, 06 and tomorrow i go back to the doctor and the plan is to remove the 4 pins.
