My 3 year old son had his tonsils removed and his left ear tube replaced on Feb 17th...13 days ago. He had the normal recovery...not much to report. However...he is having TERRIBLE pain at night! He will usually sleep for 2 -3 hours..then wakes up screaming in pain. Definately not a night terror..he is responsive. He refused to take meds or drink anything. These episodes continue throughout the night. I have called the ENT and the nurse today said she hasn't heard anything like this before. Any ideas would be great! Sleep at this point would be great...
