Hello everyone, well I am 24 yr old male and I am also facing a similar problem i.e bleeding on the lower sides (both- Left n Right Side ) of my ball sack, it i also leaving some of the dead skin. The pain/irritation is so intense that I cant even sit, walk or stand. This has happened for the 3rd time in 2 months. last 2 times I applied oil n cold cream to ease the problem but this time it doesnt seem to be working out. It is there from last 3 days, Please help me find a solution. Its ****ing irritating.
This has happened to me three times in the last two years, on each occasion I have been staying in hotels and bleeding has started immediately after I got out of the shower, so I've resolved to avoid having the shower too hot, not use the industrial complementary body wash they give you in hotels and be careful with their towel! My tip for stopping the bleeding is to have a stypic pencil in your wash bag ( intended for shaving cuts ) rub it on the source and it reacts with the blood and seals the wound very quickly.
I then put on two pairs of pants, wedge some tissue in just in case and rinse the hotel towel out from the "other side" in cold water - cold water (and I think I am right in saying milk if you have some handy) gets blood off fabric much better than hot water which "fixes" the blood stain.
I feel much better for reading these responses, I was thinking all sorts of things from bed bug bites to ...
I'm 24 and had the same issue. My incident happened out of nowhere. When I read this thread and think back, I have been eating very unhealthy and drinking a lot. These factors coupled with high stress at work and lifting weights regularly might explain a high blood pressure. The bleading also looked to be coming from a very dry area. I believe that this might be related to an unhealthy lifestyle, espicially considering that the mentioned specialists noted that this is regular for anyone ages 30-39. I'm going to make sure that I regularly moisurize that area and pursue a more healthy diet to see if this might resolve my issue. I hope this can help point others in the right direction. I was extremely worried when I first saw this. Thank you all for the information.
Hi, this happened to me today also. I got the impression it was just a hair follicle being removed when drying after showering. The disconcerting part is that it continued for quite a while.
Hi all,
Well now I feel much better having found this webpage.I really thought that I had a serious problem when my ball sack started bleeding after showering this morning.Like all the other posters here my bleeding took ages to stop and I thinkl I was in shock too.
I just sat on the toilet, called my wife and pinched the cut for at least 15 minuites.
Eventually the bleeding stopped, but now I'm worried about it happening again suddenly.
Thank you very much to all for the reassurances.
Thanks Doc , I have what looks like little blood blisters on my sac and the bleeding started a few days age , even when I was fully dressed noticed feeling wet on my leg and it was my sac bleeding !
Just happened to me, bled for an hour till my wife got home to go out into my workroom and bring me the super glue. Used it before to close other cuts, but never here. Put a dab of super glue on the spot, it will close it till it closes itself. Read quite a few articles on this, and the ones who went to doctors, most got the super glue treatment under a much more expensive name. The more I read about the stuff, the more I think Super Glue or gel should be in everyones home first aid kit.
I came to this site very concerned and sharing the same issues as many listed here, what seemed to be excessive bleeding that took forever to stop, immediately after my shower and consequent toweling off. The reply from dougmckeel on this article was great. Precise and specific and relieved a ton of concern on my part. Thanks for this site and thank you Doug for your input!
Thanks! I have problems with protrubing varicose veins and many blood spots on my scrotum. From time to time it opens and bleeds profoundly...What shall I do? Surgery?
