I'm making this post so I can hopefully get some answers for the problem I have been having. I'am a 23 year old male. About 6 months ago I quit smoking pot, I used it every day for roughly 5 years, and a short time later I began experiencing an aching sensation in my groin/testicles. I visited numerous Dr.'s and urologists, have taken perscriptions to no avail. I have a feeling that the pains are due to my previous marijuana use and the fact that the chemicals in pot build up in areas high in fat, such as the testes. I have been very patient, hoping that the chemicals would escape my system but I 'am having a hard time dealing with this anymore. I urinate and ejaculate without discomfort, but all day every day ther is an aching down there. I dont know what to do and I feel I have no one to help me. If anyone has experience similar problems or has any possible diagnosis or solution please let me know. THANKS

Hi,
Its been 7 months now and I'am still having this problem. My testes ache all day every day, no relief except when i sleep which is sometimes hard to accomplish. I have been to urologist, specialist and other doctors; I have taken numerous perscriptions such as cipro, minoxcycline.... But have gotten no diagnosis or help. I'am frustrated and depressed. It is effecting every aspect of my life. Someone please give me some advice or possible route to seek help. Thank you sincerely.

about your pain my friend.. i have had the same problem ... i forget the name of the occurance u are having but it started with a m.. exactly same as i had.. reason for the pain my doctor was that the chemicals in my body were unable to tranform proper chemicals in order for my body to use..which was due to smoking too much pot .. and it targeted the nerves in that area which was the groin. . if i were u id start taking LIQUID SILVER once a day and the pain will go away ... dont stress over it ... nothin serious .. if its the same asi had

Im from Hawaii and have also been using marijuana for 3-4 years. I just turned 21 and started smokin marijuana again after quitting for about one year. The reason i quit was from the pain and discomfort i got in my prostate, testes, and groin area. I only got the pain when smoking and especially when sitting down...... Anyway the pain all started suddenly after my senior year in high school.... I had smoked for 3 years prior and had never had problems before............... So now since i started smokin again the pain has returned............ I never new marijuana could cause me pain like this its so frustrating.......... I had a hernia when i was around 8 years old......... could that be the cause???????????? Any way im ordering the liquid silver and im gonna give it a try...... if it doesnt work im gonna quit smoking weed again so the pain goes away........ Why does marijuana cause the pain though ?????????????it makes no sense to me............. Somebody please help me..........................

Ok ive been a heavy smoker since 9th grade. about a year ago, when i was a freshman in college i started to feel discomfort, i then noticed veins in my testicles became swollen. It is called a varicocele and i believe its from smoking so much weed. im seeing a doctor next month and telling him i want surgery.

i am a 15 year old male and i had gotten achy nuts after i had quit smoking pot. i had only been smoking for about 6-7 months and the last 2-3 months i was smoking daily. the first week my nuts would hurt but not were i couldn't stand it. its been a week and a half and there almost normal and i am glad that i stopped especially after reading your guys posts. what i think that might have caused this might have been that i combined my frequent pot use with a porn addiction. actually pot made me way more addicted to porn because i would pretty much always feel like looking at porn after i smoked. i read somewhere that they think pot causes guys to create i higher quantity of low quality sperm. so i was wondering if you guys had done something like i did and maybe hurt nuts is from ejaculating right after smoking all the time. maybe if you don't ejaculate right after smoking than you wont get achy balls after quitting. i would like to know so i could warn people and possibly start smoking again, and not do what i did in the beginning....

I have had a heavy aching sensation in my left testicle for months, it has since moved to my right today. I have been to see my G.P and was referred to a Urologist and no problems were found. I have since been to have an ultrasound which also didnt show any abnormalities. I have no idea what this aching is and dont know what to do, can anyone help?

Out of curiosity, just how old are you? Aching in a testicle can usually indicate testosterone production, which is not unheard of during puberty. It is also possible that you are causing continual pain to your testicles as well. Do you wear boxers or do you wear briefs? To be honest, I switched to briefs and things went a lot better for me in that department. I'm just throwing out a couple ideas. Does anyone have more?

hey, ive read all this and have been having similar problems, i really had no idea why my right testical has been aching all the time, and it stopped hurting a few days ago and i smoked again last night and its hurting me again today. so i thought i might look up if weed does that. i am currently 15 and have been smoking since june of 09. i think this problem actually does go away when you quit because i stopped for about 5 weeks and happily noticed that the pain had gone away and ceased to come back, but i started back up in the last few weeks. and i cant lie, i love my bud. buttt if its going to cause all this testicular pain.. im not so sure i want to keep going o.O if you guys have any simple remedies to fix this (without alerting anyone that doesnt need to know about this habit [u guys get what i mean right?]) or if not ill just finish out the rest of my stash and not buy any more :-(

Unbelievable. SO...I started smoking during my junior/senior year in high school, once and a while though. During my senior year I smoked more progressively....Then the summer going into college I did everyday. In terms of smoking everyday, I had done it from my college freshman summer all the way until my sophmore first semester which is currently now.

I had epididimitis about three/four weeks ago but it wasn't until about a week or two ago that I stopped big time. I do it once every two to four days and I now notice that my stuff hurts between the times I smoke. Now I'll be heading to the urologist this week. I think I need to test this theory out more, but I'm stopping smoking marijuana from now on. Well...I'll keep it at once a week or two XD I'll keep people updated as to what the doctor says when I tell them this...If anyone wants me too?

Sorry for the wait. My problems cleared up, but I must say when I smoke (which is way less now) I freak out because I think I have pain down there. My doctor gave me a confused face when I told him all of this. Best thing to do is when you smoke (if you can't stop) keep yourself situated on something else. I really don't think there is a tie between these things.
