For the past couple of weeks, I've had a problem with blue balls. Sometimes when I ejaculate, my right testicle will discharge, but my left one will not. This requires me to jack off once, or twice more, to empty out my (comparitively) enlarged left testicle. After both testicles have been drained, they are about the same size. Having to force the second or third ejaculation is becoming a painful, and annoying issue, not to mention worrying. I've tried looking up information on the issue, but I could not find anything that specificly dealt with my problem.
I'm 20 years old. I usually jack off at least once a day. I have not had any genital related injuries. My problem started out of the blue (I have never had this problem before.) I am really confused as to what could be wrong.
I would love any advice on the issue, and don't worry, I'm seeing a doctor soon.
Thanks.
Hi Bitter,
See a urologist, this is their area of expertise.
A couple of things.
Semen does not come from your testicles, it comes from your prostate. Sperm is made in the testicles but it's only a small portion of the total ejaculate. Sperm is stored in the epididymis and it can get swollen, epididymitis.
So, you're not really draining your testicles when you ejaculate.
Your testicles do "swell" when aroused too, vasocongestion, or "blue balls." It's due to blood flow, not sperm.
There are other things that it could be too such as a spermatocele, a cyst, on the epididymis.
Again, see a urologist.
Hope it helps.
