My tongue simply got in the way of a rather vigorous face f*****g suddenly shooting pain and huge pop and blood in my mouth. That's how it happened for me lastnight.

It's safe to say that naturally ripping the "frenulum" under your tongue is better than going to a Dentist/Doctor to get it done

I just tore mine accidentally yesterday eating an apple I don't even know what exactly happened I just felt an odd feeling of numbness and some bleeding in my mouth
I personally have a tongue tie and that's a lingual frenulum and that's what ripped if it was an ulcer it would be swollen but it wouldn't have a physical tear
