Well thats a shitty thing to say to someone "it's all in your head". Also you are wrong because different manufacturers means they are made differently, it doesn't at all mean they have the same ingredients. I have been told by several doctors and pharmacists that sometimes one brand of medicine may work better than another because not all manufactures make them exactly the same, so it's not plain and simple v. And also what works for someone may very well not work for others, because everyone has different systems. So to say that it's in someone's head is a really shitty thing to say.

I was on 105ml of methadone for 4 years. After the switch, they started me out at 10.5 which they say is the equivalent. I am now up to 18.5, which is almost double. I still feel the sh**s. It's not all in my head. To tell you the truth, after doctors and pharmacists claiming it's the same, I didn't question them, but tonight it turns out I was right after reading 90% of the posts agree that methaDONE is far superior to "DOSE". We are the ones taking it. We should know!

What program offers the clear real methadone???I've asked nicely as to why i always feel sick and all they say is its in my mind. Ive been on meth for 20+years and I'm sick all the time. Please help as to where they offer this real meth. Thank uou so much.
I’ve been on methadone maintenance for 20 years. I’ve been a patient at several clinics. Every time I have to adjust to whatever they’re giving me. Michigan allows liquid methadone only. Bummer. As disc is best, in my opinion. Was on Methadose for some time. Now it’s Mallinkrodt and I feel a big difference. It's only been a week and I still need more klonopin to sleep at night. But then I just read Mallinkrodt makes Methadose.? Wtf.?nThis current stuff is deep ruby red. PS. I did have a dr who stepped on our methadone! Unbelievable. He’s in jail for other offenses. Didn’t find out til I went to new clinic. I was angry for 2 years.
That up is what I started my maintenance on. Tasted terrible to me. That was in Florida. Every state is different about allowing certain types of methadone. Some will give you a choice. Like Florida Don’t know if they still do. But it’s up to the state first. Then clinic makes their call. You can check it out online. Good luck ☮️
Been on Methadone for 21 years. And noticed a big difference. Only difference I notices it dose not last. I already was tested for rapid metabolisment with methadone and was put on split doses three ways. Not splitting methadose and am put in an uncomftable state nightly. I usually just put up with it. Clinic days are the worst as I dose 5am Dailey. The clinic is not open until 8:30 in Belleville ont. By the time your throug the pee line and dosed its 9:30 and I'm 5 hrs with out. And sick. I notice a big difference.
I totally agree., I've noticed they come on much differently for 1 thing., counselors all say "exactly the same"., "BS" I say., a girl at our clinic recently went into the hospital for something unrelated, they gave here her normal dosage of 60 mg. ,...of methadone, instead of here usual "methadose".,...she "got off" great!,...had a nod going and everything.,...if methadose DOES indeed have the same amount of methadone as "methadone", then they difference is in the buffer, or whatever ELSE is in there to slow down delivery, because ALL the clients I've ever met agree they are not the same., I especially liked your "they don't take it" comment too!,...as if WE wouldn't know how they both affect us., a "blind" study would prove it, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
I'd have killed him., then I'd tell the court I was "out of my head" on drugs., either way, I'd feel pretty good about it., probably be a big, public case,book/movie deal, girls writing you in prison wanting to have your baby...hehehe., sometimes murder is a "good" thing!
2 yrs. That is a short period of time to be analyzing dose and don. I have been on my program in NYC for 19 yrs. I've had methadone, methadose, and laam. The only difference is laam. One dose lasts 2 days.
What do i do im in a situation im in MMT, i trasferred cause i had to move, i notice a remarkable differnce,. Was taking the Roxane DOLOPHINE 10(mg) HCL Tablets (Methadione) 54/142. Get to the Springs after being on this for 3 years im on Cherry Methadose my old doctor calls it the 40% rule. They can take you up 20 percent up on generic or wopercent down thats 1//5. Thats alot.So in my sitation what do i do i get sick around 5-6 pm get sick ithe feelng from it the Methadose disipates around at 12pm. And i had the Oral Methadone Generic and my doctor did a study and found its 20% stonger the mallinckrodt Brand name methadose HCL Tablets or Oral solution the cherry which i thought vould be tolerble. Thats crazy a generic is stronger then Methadose ( brand name ) mallinckrodt. What do i do is thier some kind of law if the Methadose does not work i can have the tablets if i keep getting an upset stomach, When i as on roxanne it (Dolophine) great they have 5,20,40MG HCL Tablets even thier generic blows mallinckrodt Mehtadose out the water and i talked to my doctor about this
I've been on methadone for 12 yrs and have had it in all forms... My whole life I've been a thin in a healthy way as well as my 5 siblings along with my Mother and father anyhow when I 1st started it was on the liquid and I went from like 100 to 150 pounds that's alot of bloated water weight. And No I wasn't pregnant.But hey whatever it was working for me then I moved and went to a private doctor and got the orange wafers and I was on the same amount just about and just lost the weight.Then about 2 yrs later moved back and went back to the original clinic with the liquid lowered my dose and this time I gained even more weight.wouldn't you know it. I come into the clinic one day and people are telling me that you could switch to the orange ones the wafers and of course I had to spend a little extra but, within a month I noticed I my clothes were looking to big.I was at 197 and in less than 6 months I was 123pounds. And another added bonus is They also seem to last longer in your system. This whole weight thing is a big issue with people on Methadone it's just no one talks about it because Hey if you have to put some pounds on to get yourself straight that'sjust the price you gotta pay. Anyways if this helps anyone awsome if not I just waited 10 minutes of my day. Take care.
Absolutely! I have been at my clinic for around15 years. I have never failed a UA, and always come prepared for one. I try to be proactive and positive about recovery, and was (and am) serious as hell about this program. I did use 150 for several years, then hydrated down to 100, now I am at 75 and plan to go lower in the next year. Hopefully to 30-40. One of my pet peeves are those who have been on a stable dose for mo.s or years and cry "withdrawl" if they do not get their dose by the same time daily, or miss a dose. It has a long 1/2 life and I myself have been able to miss 1 and once 2 doses(due to illness). Many people get in to clinics for as high a dose as possible, some to get high, some for $. I take it very serious, and drive 120 miles round trip as needed so I can remain at my clinic, which does not play games with people. There have been other clinics, which have been shut down, I know of 2 others now, one is only 15 miles away, but, I have already heard of issues of divergence of take-homes etc. I plan to stay where I am.
