I agree l had metadone since 1991 , then changed to methadose 2014 and l have never been able to feel zz good as l did with the methadone! Plus my methadose dose was 100ml until 2015 then l had to increase another 10 ml 2- 3 times a year !

Methadose is just one of the brand names e.g. Dolophine. MethaDONE is the generic and they both have the exact same structure. I'm serious, there is no difference. The ONLY difference that I've noticed that may affect a drugs dose and feeling of it drastically, is based on which generic pharmaceutical company manufactured it.

Hello you seem to know your chemicals. May I ask a quick question? What is the highest dose of methadone you have ever seen prescribed? I was on 880mg a Day. Thats 220mg QID ( Four times a day ). I have yet to hear of a dose even coming close. Have you?
they are both the sam ive been on methadone 20 years had methadose and methadone wafers, methadose syrup cherry, the clear syrup, 10mg aurobindo methadone, mallinckrodt 10mg,and roxane 10mg,
I have taken methadose for eighteen years and methadone for a couple months. I have chronic health problems that cause extreme fatigue and muscle pain. Methadone is much stronger. It helps pain much better and makes you feel more alert.
Ok so Ive been trying to taper to lower my methadone usage over time, and it was impossible to cut the 10mgs in half so i was switched to the 5mg ones so i had more control over the dosage etc. Ive been on the ASCEND ones and now i was switched to 5mg dolophine ones i believe. I feel a drastic mental difference of spaceyness and like a mental withdrawel without the harder body/physical effects, but it does feel different and I was told it was the same thing by my doctor. If anyone knows and could help id appreciate it.
Id say hes on the MMT (Methadone maintenance program and it works i was at 115 mg for about 3 years and long weening process but worth it because while your in jt you get your sh**s in order and it goves you time so you can think normal . You don't get high becaue they gradual get you at a stable dose and the Doctors start you low, well in Canada they do. I went to many detoxes but there only weeks or a few month and the easy part is detoxing, it uncofrotable no doubt but its 3-4 days BUT then the work happens because the detox is a joke compared to the mental and emotional work and craving are there so again the methadone give u time clean because if people would do there research its no different than a diabetic needing insulin and thats from the MMT handbook thats 50 odd pages its very good but dont give up take your time coming down usally ten percent but i still am an addict but methdaonde works if your not like some clowns that just change there drug of choice to upper and that defeats the whole purpose and many doctors gave up on the program from this. So to ye junkies on methadone stop rinning it for peoole that want a life and a clean life but most people at my place use , just deig addicts that are not redy but should be kicked off the program but some doctors are eay ti liberal while my doc he would write me up of i had a gravel in my tox screen and hes the best doctor here because he don't put up with BS if you get three strikes he wins you down 3 mg a day and that's being nice but I'm gonna be sick as a pig and like for probably a month. Sorry about the rant its just i recommend methadone but only if u give a detox or medical detox a try and really work the program. Hardest thing was for me was time, i was not redy and did not want to leave the facility lol but had to and messed up many times. I see 18-19 year old kids and they go on
Methadone without teying detox and if they did most of the younger crowd talks BS like i was doing 10 Oxy 80's and at the same time im like why are u asking me for a smoke and your clean but tou could afford 400 bucks a day for your habit ? There full of sh*t because most can afford maybe an 80 a day thts 50 dollers for one and times by 7 thats 350 a week and 1400 a month so its an expensive habit i worked and blew alot of money but i do alright as a tradesmen so you juts have to keep at it

Methadone for pain or addiction because the liquid methadone is for the addiction side because it last up to two days but it Don't lol . Your on the pill form interesting
you have no clue buddy,, there's a huge difference, no wonder we are losing the battle with fentanyl.. I been on the program for 16 years. started going down from 195 METHADONE and they switched to methadose when i got to 120 mg. i still kept going down even tho i could tell it was way way weaker. started getting extra off the street cause i didnt wanna let family friends down. was prescribed down to 85 mg methadose but actuley doing 300mg methadose and now back to 130mg methadose plus what i buy. What a waste of time and energy now with methadose. liquid handcuffs for nothing!! im screwed 52 yrs old with chronic opiod disorder and wanna get off it but also had major injuries which requires pain med. dr prescribe Kaidian with methadose becuse they know NOW that methadose is a joke.
Let me tell you I noticed a big difference . I was in the hospital and received methadone pills, way stronger than Methadose I get at the Clinic. It was to strong for me because I dont want to take to feel it.
You are right! I was in the hospital for 7 days was given regular Methadone; it was way too strong for me because I'm on 120mg of Methadose. I wish I could get off of this, its ridiculous. I think you need to tell your Clinic, they will help you out before you get arrested or end up dead from street drugs.
Here in Ohio I tried to get my Dr. To give me Methadone or dose, I guess there are laws family Dr. Cannot do this? The way he explained it sounded this way. Maybe he was against it too.
