Like this response this best... for little ones with sensitive skin - anything can cause a pretty bad rash in a short amount of time. Common things that set my daughter's rashes off (and have since birth and she is now 3) include diapers like Luvs with many chemicals, antibiotics causing mild yeast infection, poop has to be cleaned off within 60 seconds or she will have horribly irritated skin anywhere it touches or is not cleaned well, the wipes that we use must be for sensitive skin, playing with herself if she had a wet diaper on. Typically when she is complaining of a rash or stinging, we clean her first with the sensitive wipes in all crevices so there is no potential irritants remaining from the pooh; then to soothe the area we give her a lukewarm washdown in the tub - she washes her girl parts, then we spray her bottom with the shower sprayer. If it is really bad, we use the Naturals diaper cream and/or corn starch with no fragrance added. Hope this helps someone.

I gotta agree with the mom's disconnecting feeling comfortable with people aroundthe child with molestation possibilities. Every molested child is the direct result of someone thinking that whether they feel comfortable with others or not had anything to do with molestation possibilities. Pedophiles are experts at making mother's feel comfortable.

My daughter had a similar problem when she was a toddler and it was step. Instead of her getting a soar throat, she got soar all over her bottom. She had to take antibiotics.

Well yes. Do not give her any acidic drinks or sodas til you take her to a doctor who will check
to see if she could have been abused. If you leave her with other people, or kids, she may have been abused. No reason to have bumps at her age. You need to try to get her to tell you who and what happened. It's terrible the way doctors are so reluctant to say it could be sexual abuse. That doesn't help the child. Change her situation to prevent it from happening again.. Prayers to you and your little angel.

actually some STDs can be passed to a baby through vaginal delivery. however it is likely that she has reacted to something, or has a bed bug of some sought? or reacting to Diapers if still in use. Try the baking soda, or Corn starch is excellent (having paid for many things we then used a corn starch/water solution and it cleared up in a few days) Keep away from the wipes and use little clean cloth wipes as the final wash in warm water no soap. Also change your laundry powder

whipe /wash with thin watery cornstarch & water solution, did not believe it would work, but really did....on a bleeding raw bottom that nothing else had helped (and changed the wipes to cloth and water, and different diapers)

Sounds like a yeast infection to me! My two year old had the same symptoms and finally after a month and a half, she was treated with diflucan for 2 weeks and she's doing much better

You're kind of rude for jumping to conclusions like that. That was ridiculous. She never said anything about any "boo boos" she just said her daughter is saying it hurts. Jeez!
