So happy to here I am not alone on this one. Just assumed they were a chunk of my lung or liver or brain or some other accessory organ. Was pretty convinced I was dying. Tried explaining them to my doctor uncle. Looked at me like an id**t. Phew. Liver failure will get me yet but it least its not them sh*t smelling throat clods.

This can be a sign of yeast infection in your throat, or this can be a smelling tonsil stone you should consult a doctor for this . You can refer the site Flu.ca this has a lot of information regarding flu, cold and throat infection. I think I can clear all our doubts.

I just started getting these and I am so greatful for all of you who have posted on here! I was beginning to think I have some sort of abcess? I find that using a clean new blemish extractor is perfect for getting these out! It's not sharp like tweezers and scoops them out pretty easy! Something like this one works very well!

These Tonsil Stones are most likely caused by Celiac Disease, or an allergy to Gluten. I am in no way a health care professional, but have researched this extensively. Eliminating Gluten completely from your diet may clear up this symptom among hundreds of others caused by this allergy. You should definitley research it. You may have a lot of other "silent" symptoms caused by your body's inability to break down gluten. And in turn your body basically fights against itself (red, itchy throat, swollen lymph nodes in neck, tonsil stones) are all symptoms of Celiac Disease among another 300 or so. Google it. Hope this can help someone.

I actually had a similar thing happen to me, but it was tiny bits of food that had just gotten stuck in my glad, they become hard and smell very bad. The best way to get them out is by taking a cotton swab and squeezing it like a pimple. You will gag a lot but it helps!
