Hi Everyone....Im gonna make this just a brief post about my recent Thyroid Removal Surgery!  In reading all that I could online I called my Dr and said I wanted to cancel my surgery for the following day.  He asked me why, and what fears he could help me with..I said I had been reading so much online that I was flatout scared. First thing they told me to do was "shut off your computer"  The reason for my post is that I am here to tell you that I had Surgery Friday 25th at 1:45 and by 8:00 that same night I was home on my sofa...Let me add that I had stopped at McDonalds on the way home for a shake and fish sandwich...I slept better that night then I had in months....If I had believed everything I had read I wouldnt be here to tell you. This comes from a 45 year old woman who lost both of her parents...One to lung cancer and the others Lymphomia.  Be positive...Know your body and past medical history...You can do this.....Be strong and if you are facing surgery please talk to your Dr...Because "It must be true its on the internet"  isnt!
