hello, i would first like to start off with some history as to whats been going on in my life in regards to this problem.
almost two years ago, around july of 2015, I had noticed this feeling down in my clitoris. It was aching, and tingling, and I was scared of what this could be. I went to many doctors about this problem, and the first doctor I went to had prescribed me a diflucan for a yeast infection. After that didn't help at all, I was starting to get more scared of what this could be.
This feeling lasted around four months nonstop. During this time period, I was absolutely distressed. I had gone to /many/ different OBGYNs about this, and none of them knew what was wrong with me. I started to feel hopeless.
Now, of course, I started to look online for possible answers- and I found an article revolving around "persistent sexual arousal disorder", or "restless genital syndrome". I do not feel aroused. I do not feel "on the brink of orgasm", however, some of the symptoms I had found to describe RGS fit me well-
"Patients complain of a discomfort in their genital area which can be described as a burning sensation, tingling, pain, itching, or throbbing. Often they say that it is difficult to find a word to describe their symptoms. It has been observed that symptoms tend to be worse when patients are sitting or lying down, particularly in the evening, and can be alleviated by standing and walking."
I do feel tingling, and throbbing. I do find it extremely hard to try and describe my symptoms to doctors, and i do often feel as though I have to get up and walk around to get rid of it.
i remember I went to a doctor and asked about this- I have had 2 doctors tell me that if I do not feel aroused, I can cross that off of the list.
however theres also another factor- I feel as though an orgasm hits right the spot where I am feeling this sensation. When I orgasm, it hits that spot dead on- and I feel as though I need some sort of friction to get rid of it. (almost like an itch I can not scratch).
after the four months of me having to go through this, it magically disappeared with no warning. It left for almost a year- until just recently It started to come back again! but this time, instead of four months, it usually would come back for about 2 weeks, disappear, and then come back again.
I am in the process of seeing many doctors for this, many of which dont know exactly what is wrong. I do think it is worth mentioning, however, that the first time it started up again, I was prescribed another diflucan (for yeast), and after 2 doses of the medicine, it went away completely the next day after taking it. And then, it came back AGAIN (after about 2 weeks), and I took another round of diflucan- it went away again after the second pill.
so there has been two instances where it went away completely with the diflucan pills, but i am told that it is just "timing" or a "coincidence" by my doctors.
i also would like to mention that i am a minor.
Please help me- I do not know what else to do. I am completely desperate at this point for some answers
