iVE BEEN TAKING OPIOID FOR OVER FIVE YEARS AND METHADONES FOR THREE AND NOW I REALLY WANT TO GET OFF THEM BUT IM SCARED BECAUSE IVE DONE IT BEFORE AND THE WITHDRAWALS WERE HORRIBLE AND I DONT WANT TO COLD TURKEY AGAIN! I CANT DO IT!
Withdrawals are very hard, and my heart really goes out for you. I think that the best course of treatment for you is to talk to your doctor or to a treatment clinic about getting off the methadone safely. I know that you can taper off next to nothing and do okay.
