This all probably sounds ridiculous, but I'm stressing so much that it's taking a toll on my health and relationships.
2 months ago, my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex for about 15 seconds (he didn't ejaculate) I'm on the pill, and he put a condom on afterwards. This all took place on the last day of my period. I took a test the day before my next period started, and it was negative. I had my period right on time the next month, but the stress didn't leave. I don't have sore or swollen breasts, nor do I often need the bathroom. I have been feeling dizzy and nausious though, mainly when I think about being pregnant. And I'm having cramps in my legs and joint pain. I have mood swings when I'm stressed out and a funny pain/feeling in the bottom of my stomach.. I really am so terrified and as I said, it's taking a toll on my life quality.. What are the chances of pregnancy after a period happens, and what are these symptoms? Should I see a doctor about anxiety? I really would appriciate any advice.. I don't know how to deal with this amount of stress in between periods..
I would say your not pregnant when you had your period. I also suffer from stress and I had an anxiety disorder which I have learned to deal with over time with breathing techniques. Your symptons sound like stress related and you would be surprised but you have pains every where with stress-believe me!! But try relaxing and be carefull next time incase you dont get away as easy!!
Thanks so much! I've had a bad past with anxiety and stress, does it help to see someone about it? I've been considering it after this incident.. Also, what physical symptoms did you have with your anxiety? If you don't mind saying. I haven't found anyone to relate to, which raises my stress level.
Sometimes I could feel sick, chest pains, pains in joints and muscles..its crazy what stress does to us. And the dizzyness is also very common. Yes it does help to see someone and your doctor can refer you to a specialist whe will teach you the techniques u need for this
I think I'll do that, I have those exact symptoms. Were you also very tired from stress? I'm so scared this fear gets worse. It really does feel awful! Thank you so much for your help :)
Yes I often felt I could sleep for days but what helps is get out for a walk and enjoy the fresh air..it does help..try it. But it does get easier with the right help so look after yourself and get the techniques you need because it is a cycle the more u stress, the worse you will feel and that will stress you more etc!! so focus on the good things in your life, talk a walk and deep breathing techniques
I will definitly do that today. Hopefully this will ease up soon. Thank you again!
