I have been having this problem with the urethral farts for some time. I am 46 years old but I have been experiencing this since about the age of 40 or 41. I talked to my GYN and he acted like I didn't know the difference between anus and urethra.  first, I thought it was from my vagina, but I know what a queef is, which usually happens during or after sex.  This is not a queef, its a fart.  I can't control it, when i feel something coming, I walk away from people for fear that they will hear it or smell it.  it is embarassing.  there has to be a solution to this problem.  smh%-)

No. It's just that every girl has the problem every once in a while. It is a good thing, that your body is airing out of your urethra, leading into your air bubble to turn into a fart.

I have been having small "farts" coming out of my urethra when I unrinate for a while now.  I've also been having severe "flank" pain which I confused as back pain and it was only while sleeping and disappeared soon after waking.  After suffering from this for over a year, numerous tests finding nothing, I came upon a web site about flank pain that blew my mind.  Everybody on there described what was happening to me, except the farts.  After trying several things that were suggested, I discovered that when I propped my body up when I slept that there was no pain when i slept.  My urine was backing up from my bladder into my kidneys and I could only sleep 4-5 hours before pain drove me out of the bed!!!!!   My doctor is baffled but I don't care.  Nobody seems to be able to tell me how this happens.  Had my kidneys checked because it had been happening for over a year.  I'm fine.  Bought an adjustable bed, sleep with my upper half of my body in an incline, no pain!!!!!  Sleep 9, 19, 11 hours, no pain.  Hope this helps.  Also, no farts as of 10 days after making these changes.  Goodluck everyone!!!

Plus i had blood coming out if urethra right before my period started the other day and yes it did come out of the wrong hole . I'm scared , did anyone figure anything out

If you are bleeding through the urethra during your period there are also fistulas between vagina and urethra so see your doctor. This needs to be fixed.

If this is coming from the urethra area, I just saw my doctor, and she said this could be serious and I have to go back next week. They are doing a culture on my urine and so far there is infection, but they need to find out where it's coming from....you really need to see a doctor

The urethra is part of the urinary system. It is not part of the digestive system

That's something completely different! Air coming out of the vagina is caused by air being pushed in during sex, usually in the doggie position. What we're talking about here is passing gas through the urethra. Which originates within the body.
