Everyone here needs to look into Pudendal neuralgia since that nerve goes to the bladder/urethra and groin. Irritation of this nerve can cause urinary tract infections symptoms and pelvic floor muscle dysfunction. I have been dealing with this since riding a new mtn bike which irritated my nerve and urethra. Muscle relaxant medication helps a lot since it relaxes the pelvic floor and sphincters to not spasm after voiding your bladder. Also can ask your urologist about paraurethral gland inflammation/infection if you are having burning in your urethra everytime you urinate. Good luck...you are not alone.

Hi, I've had this problem since September. It started like a bladder infection but has never gone away. As soon as I put on a pair of tight jeans or tights my urethra becomes sore, and if I don't take off the jeans or tights and try to bare the discomfort my urethra pain intensifies and stays that way for days. I've found that washing thoroughly and directing warm water onto the urethra helps and I was taking 4 probiotic tablets a day which also helped. I'm going to see a urologist for a cystoscopy soon :-( I just wish it would go away

have you had a hysterectomy .I been told when you have this done .when they take out the .uterus ..the bladder drops down some .and sits on the urethra when you pee it lets a little out ..when. that happens ..it stops you from finishing from peeing and only letting out small amount ..reliving pressure .causing burning and pain .bladder than sits on the urethra again .blocking the urine from coming out ..or if the bladder drops .this can happen .until put back up in place ..I go through this every day my self .and cant find a doctor to help me ..it is very painful.

oh my gosh. I have had these symptoms too and also started Yasmin about 18 months ago. I have had UTI's in the past btut few and faw between and mainly caused by not drinking enough fluids. However in the last year I have had multiple UTIs and constant feeling of needing to pee in the last few weeks. I suspected Yasmin as it has caused a lot of other side effects so I am stopping it after this cycle. Problem is what pill to start on after that??

I had my first pelvic exam at 37 and came away with my first UTI. Still a virgin. Never been touched. Two UTI infections and four rounds of different antibiotics over the course of several months, I experienced my first yeast infection. Only I didn't know it, and neither did the doctors, until my second yeast infection, which was more severe and required two rounds of fluconazole and over the counter herbs (grapefruit seed extract). WARNING-This can interact with medicines you may be on so please check before trying it.

Well, nearly two years later, I'm still dealing with the burning urethra thing daily and peeing frequently at night. No UTI at the moment. Just sitting around the house in baggy pants or shorts during Corona times. Currently, there is no swelling, discharge or smells. Caffeine makes it worse. Wondering if small kidney stones from messing around with supplements are scraping me up down there or if my pH is off from stress or whatever. Dark urine every morning no matter what. Sometimes kidney pain, but more likely from my bed springs pressing on my back.
I'm not on BC pills. Tried Loestrin from my endocrinologist for my PCOS for a week many years before the first UTI. Had stopped Norethindrone two years prior to the original OBGYN visit that I believe was conducted in an unclean manner. No other regular medications. Got two uterine fibroids. Normally have bleeding most days of the month, but light to nothing the past two months. I'm at a loss and the doctors are useless.

Make sure your doctor washes their hands and doesn't use those swabs sitting out in the open on that tray. They need to be washing up like they do for surgery during pelvic exams, I believe.
