i was diagnosed with a kidney stone. First time I've ever had this and im in my late 40's. I'm feeling pressure, like i have to urinate. but little comes out. is this part of the stone being released or what?

It's caused by the stone.
The stone is irriitating the ureter and causing you to want to void your bladder, much the same as a UTI can make you urinate more.
Keep drinking fluids!
I've had kidney stones twice and know what you're going through.
