I was wondering if I could still have a UTI when urine culture is negative?
My uriinalysis showed WBC...I also see some visible blood in urine but it didnt show up in urine test..My dr said the urine was very diluted ...Could this be why the test showed no RBC. I had another UTI 2 months before this one..Could thee blood still be coming from the inflamation? Can blood still be in urine for a little while after infection is gone? Thanks

HI Louise, it is pretty unlikely that the blood that was in your urine from your previous UTI would still be hanging around and it's odd that you had a urine culture but you don't actually have a UTI or at least you weren't diagnosed with one. Are you suffering from any sort of pain while you pee or are you actually experiencing the pain of a UTI without any diagnosis? Perhaps you should talk to your doctor about this to see if there isn't something that you can do. Keep us posted on what it turns out to be, okay?
I have numerous pus in my urine, but no growth in culture and sensitivity. What kind of medicine should I take? I'm having lower back pain as well.
