hey guys.... i'm use to being the one to answer the questions and help others however i could us some help on something....

A friend of mine told me he had unprotected sex in october of 2005. this was the one and only time he had UNPROTECTED sex. he said that when he was "doing it" his penis burned and then continued to be irritated for i believe a week or two afterwards. he then notices a few small bumps on the underside of the glans near where the frenulum is/would be. he had them checked out and the doctor said they were normal.... he had them removed because they were getting irritated. apparently these occured avout 8 months after he had unprotected sex. what has got his so distrought now is the skin of his penis shaft is changing and is becoming extreamly sensitive to the touch.(to the point where he can only where loose fitting boxers and gym shorts/pants or really loose jeans. heat diffinatly makes it more irritated. i didn't know about his conditions until a few days ago. and he was getting very depressed/embarrased over the whole situation. he knew how I had a good bit of knowledge in the areas of anatomy and biological sciences so he wanted be to check it out to see if i knew what it might be; so me being the good friend that i was agreed to check it out. upon inspection i notices some tenderness in the area where the spleen is but nothing grossly enlarged, no enlarged lymphnodes in the groin or inguinal area. the odd thing was was the penis. while the glans had a few darker red spots maby about the size of the end of an ink cartrage in a ball point pen. also the skin on the shaft starting with the skin right under the glans and extending down to about half the shaft of the penis looks loose and lighter and less healthy than the rest of the penile skin like something is under it and eating away or damaging it. there is a clear banded area where the health skin starts and the bad ends. he said that is has gotten worse and he really thinks that it would be cancer. i told him i didnt think so since there are no open sores and he is circumscised so that greatly reduces the risk of getting the already rare penile cancer. its very hard to describe what the abnormal skin looks like but it seems saggier (less tone) and lighter and a little rougher in texture maby like if someone rubbed it with sand paper or something.

i was trying to figure out what he has since it is really starting to affect him and causes him a lot of pain. he had seen a couple urologists when in florida but i think that was for theos harmles lumps (perhaps something along the lines of pearly penile papules) and not this newer issue. i told him i would ask around on the forum and do some research but i am sending him to a doctor because i think that he will probably need a biopsy to set a better feel of what is causing it.

sorry for the extreamly long post but i'm trying to help and thought perhaps someone had experienced something like what i described.

please get back to me and let me know any help would be appreciated!!

havce a good one,

What are the symptoms of Syphilis?
I understand it may hide in the body for years after contracting it.

well normally there are stages of syphilis and normaly starts with a sore/lump called a chancer.... he has not had one of these later a body rash resembling red pinpoint dots occurs amoung other symptomes. he said he had not had that. he said he was tested for aids, syphilis gonnorrhea, possibly chlamydia and they were all negative. nothing i saw looked like warts or herpes..... however there is deffinatly something affecting the skin of the penis and it is working its way towards the base. the normal skin he says feels fine no pain or anything but the affected skin he says was real sinsitive.....

thanks for th imput
