Would I need a polypectomy prior to uterine ablation for heavy bleeding or does the ablation rid me of the polyps? I do not know the anatomy of a polyp, only that the ablation removes the endometrial layer of tissue.
If I have heavy and frequent menstrual periods due to uterine polyps, will just uterine ablation fix this problem, or would I require a polypectomy and then ablation?
