Hi Priyanka,
I am suffering from the uveitis since march 2016 .I am also planning to visit sreedhareeeyam. How is your eyes now . Do you recommend me to visit sreedharayam ? Currently I am on steroid tablet of 10 mg and still I have pain in my eyes .

I suffered from mild uveitis. I did research and found some natural remedies that may have helped to my fast healing: omega 3 capsules and turmeric capsules (both of these help reduce inflammation in the body), I also watch my diet, stopped coffee and no refined sugars. I used DUREZOL drops for a few days, I hope it does not come back.

There is a five star book on Amazon which is about autoimmune . which may be triggered by food allergies, Stop all gluten and dairy, sugar, processed foods, coffee alcohol What is interesting to note is gluten and dairy cross react. The scratch test is not the accurate the elimination diet is accurate and easy to do. There is suspect that autoimmune is virus. That may not be the cure for all but for some that may be the issue. I take , A, B, C D and E vitamins and minerals drop and zinc I take an alkalizing formula some people just make it 2Tablespoons of fresh lemon juice squeezed into a glass , add 1/4 tsp baking soda let fizz add water after that , and drink two times a day. This get rid of the acid condition of the body and alkalize

I suffer from uveitis and have had multiple tests done even had cataract surgery still my vision is cloudy so I've asked could it be smoke going in my eye from my cigarette or when I smoke marijuana and doctors have told me no the smoke doesn't affect the eye I'm starting to think they don't even know about uveitis

I have suffered from Uveitis since 1990 and have been taking Pred since then with Cellcept , after Cataract surgery in both eyes this auto immune disease has moved on from Sarcoidosis to Stage 2 progressive MS , only taking 4 mg a day of Pred but over the last months I have been taking Turmeric supplement with good success , no floaters or bright light problems and the Glaucoma has settled .

I quit gluten and lowered sugar and am in a 20 mo. remission. Maybe that would work for you.

I missed something here. Please tell me what FML is as i also have uveitis and use {no gluten} to control it and so far am in a long remission. 20 months...but one never knows what they face in the future. God be with you and your son.

I eat lots of fruits and vegetables and NO GLUTEN AND NO SUGAR: I am in a long {20month} remission. God be with you.

Eight years of chemo, steroids and every eye operation possible, my uveitis is still quite bothersome; sadly lost my vision to misdiagnosed multiple sclerosis (I was too active, athletic and intelligent and the doctors never believed my complaints). Have been unable to read a book for 16 years my vision is impairing my ability to lead a normal life. Lets hope more research is done!!
