I have had repeated infections this year, over 10 including yeast, bacterial vaginosis, and UTI. I get treatment for them but as soon as I resume sexual activity, I have another infection of some sort. I spoke to my doctor but he is not concerned. He says that these types of infection are normal for someone my age. I am very concerned. I have been tested for STD every time an infection occurs but all results are negative. Could there be something wrong with my immune system? Even if I use condoms, it does not help. Could the use of Conceptrol be a contributing factor? I have been using condoms for years every time but recently I have gone without, does my body need som type of adjustment?
Has your partner been treated on any occasions? You may be passing the infections back and forth to one another? It's just a guess.

I do know that some people are just more prone to yeast. My cousin has the same problem. She gets yeast without an apparent reason with all those terrible symptoms. She get sit treated and then gets it again.

Do you abstain from having sex while on the treatments?

It is possible that the type of condoms you are using may have something to do with it. My close friend was experiencing something similar and turns out what she thought were frequent yeast infections were actually irritation caused by an unknown allergy to something in the condoms.
