Sometimes when I have sex I bleed heavily. I was having sex as normal with my boyfriend but when we switched positions he noticed his shirt and sheets was covered in blood. It doesn't happen always but when we had sex in the shower there seems to be no blood at all even when I get out of the shower. I just don't know what to think but we're concern that something can be wrong. I have no symptoms except for heavy bleeding during sex, I have no pain or itching. I hope its not an STD but it shouldnt be the case with us but i'm concerned and been thinking about calling my local clinic for a paps smear to check everything out I need to know if anyone is having this same problem or has had this happen to them. i just need to know what should I do before anything gets worst!

this happens with my girlfriend, and im not sure what causes it, maybe he is being to rough?

per vaginal bleeding is might be due to internal tears may be caused due to violent acts , i will advice you to avoid sex for few days as its causing again rupture of previously formed cause

if bleeding is heavy then contact your gynecologist for suturing of tears ,

repeated heavy bleeding can cause iron deficiency and anaemia

so don't ignore it as it may cause serious problems in future.
