I'm 44 and just noticed this problem yesterday. I've been taking high dose of Tylenol for couple of days. I bet it's the vaginal ph balance...too acidic or something

I have been having the same problem I think for the past few months. I am 15 and have already started my pereoud. I must change my undergarments often because it happens often.
I experience black stains on my undergarments, that don't come out in the wash. I am highly concerned, but afraid to go to a doctor about it. It seems to happen more during my menstral cycle. If I do not clean myself thoroughly it starts burning. This has been going on for a while now .

What should I do?

Since you are experiencing pain and burning. You need to be seen ASAP. I know you dread discussing this private problem with the doctor but you can do it and the sooner you get checked the better the chance for an easy cure. Good luck and sending up a prayer for you.

No, I don to use deodorant or antiperspirant around my crouch area. If you do that you will get an infection like you wouldn't believe!

I experience the same thing. Could it just be put down to what we eat! Possibly the more acidic foods we eat the darker our "crotch" area becomes.

Thanks for letting us know it was Tylenol! I very recently experienced this too. I'm 19 and on the pill, so I knew it couldn't have been my period. But at the time I was taking Tylenol every 4 hours or so for a toothache, and that explains it all perfectly. As soon as I stopped taking it, everything was back to normal. Glad to know others had similar problems and were able to deal with it!
