It honestly sounds like you have a bacterial infection or bacterial vaginosis. It is usuly accompanied by a white, milkish discharge w/ a foul smelling fishy type (strong) odor. However you will have to see a Dr to get rid of it. There is a pill u can take or a gel type of medicine that u insert in your vagina.

If it's smelly (fishy) it could be bv bacterial vaginosis. I've had this before and went to the doctors and they haver some medication to clear it up, it can be caused by lots of different factors. Even smoking so my doctors tell me.

I know you wrote this over a year ago, but this may help someone else. Birth Control claims 99% to keep you from getting pregnant, but that is a lie. Birth control creates a hostile environment in your uterus (very unhealthy for you) by thinning the lining of your uterine wall. If preventative measures do not work (which are NOWHERE near that 99% claim), the pill causes an abortion by not allowing the fertilized egg to attach...thus, you expell your baby. The pregnancy is so early, you have no symptoms or even know you had conceived.Read Randy Alcorns book on birth control online for free. Take a natural progesterone to avoid pregnancy and it will be healthier for you and won't kill your baby.

How old are you? I ask because I experience this too quite frequently, and I believe in my case it is due to anovulation. I'm 43 and clearly in perimenopause.
