I can tell you one thing about me. I have itching and peeling and a severe burning condition around my vagina skin and sometimes on the clit and lips. There's clear to white (milky) to light yellow discharge, but NO scent whatsoever. Been having sex for about 6 years (with and w/o condoms) with my ex boyfriend but I can surely say that mine aren't caused by sex!! I had it before I even had sex. Also I broke up with my ex-bf and even after 1 year of having no sex, I still get it. The time is usually around just before my menstruation and while I have my menstruation. Apparently my skin has become sensitive to being moist all the time. It's like when you stay in water for too long and your fingers get wrinkly and soft. (P.S. My vajaja isn't wrinkly :-P )
So what I would recommend is that you keep that area well-breathable and dry. Avoid using panty liners as this blocks air passage, even those breathables! Obviously you'll need to wear feminine napkin during menstruation, but change it as often as possible. Tampons are good to use, but they have killer side effects.. I never used them in my life... :-) Shower regularly during the day. Dry the vajaja area properly, if you must, allow air drying after wiping ang VOILA!!! It goes away, not permanently, but my method's very effective. 8)
I to have had skin peeling from my vagina area I am not sexually active found citric acid to play a role as citric acid contains a form of fungus , citric acid is in all pop, ketchup, cake mixes, most salad dressings walmart brand great value has some that it is not in for that I am grateful its also in a lot of juices since I have a yeast issues diflucan works and seems to be clearing up the skin loss and itching as well when I did have itching and found I lost the skin I would rinse the area with water then I applied a variety to choose from that worked I would take a needle and poke the capsule and squeeze out the liquid from the capsule then apply to my vaginal area evening primrose capsules1000 mg, garlic capsules 1000 mg tea tree oil mix a couple of drops with vasoline (petroleum jelly) or vitamnin e I tried but if your vaginal area is dry it absorbs right into the skin and you are dry again found the best was a couple drops of tea tree oil and vasoline keeps it moist and stopped the itching also the evening primrose balances the hormones which stop the itching. I am also going through menopause and know that vaginal dryness is goes along with menopause I still have the dryness but itching is gone and have not lost any more skin since taking the diflucan. Hope this helps...
I know I am std free. After the birth of my child I experienced skin peeling or flaking and irratation.
(the leading cause of pregnancy-related deaths in adult females), and
other dangerous complications of pregnancy. Occasionally, the infection
can spread to in the peritoneum causing inflammation and the formation of scar tissue on the external surface of the liver (Fitz-Hugh-Curtis syndrome). Multiple infections and infections that are treated later are more likely to result in complications.
GO GET TESTED!!!!!!!
I hate to be "That Person" but maybe if you wanted your mom to thing you were a virgin you shouldn't have had sex. There is no risk of any kind of STD or Pregnancy if you abstain. There is no use in being "Depressed" or "Scared". you brought this on yourself so Own up to it. I'm 24. I stayed a Virgin until i was almost 21 by choice. When you are older you make better judgment calls. Teens these days just don't understand that there is more to sex than just pleasure. Sure, in the heat of the moment Sex seems great but is it worth the worry after? Food for thought. If your mom is actually a good one and she loves you she will be disappointed but she will love you anyway and get you the medical treatment you need. It is important to go to the doctor if you even slightly suspect and STD. STD can damage your reproductive system and make it hard for you to become with child in the future. Sorry about your situation but Hope it turns/turned out alright for you.
(I realize this post was a year ago but I'm sure this girl isn't the only one experiencing this and just think that This could knock some sense into someone.)
