Don't feel bad I'm 56 haven't had a period in over 6 years and suddenly I have developed this vaginal wetness feeling. It drives me crazy throughout the day. I too have been to the GYN who is very reputable and he has taken every culture known to man all of which show negative findings. I'm totally perplexed and frustrated not knowing which way to go. I had a complete physical about a month ago and all was normal as well. I'm going to try Pinealtonin and see if that relieves this annoying feeling I'm experiencing. If there are any other suggestions out their please send them this way.

I am not sure if anyone will reply but, recently i've been extra wet all day long. It makes my underwear wet. It's not like discharge but just regular wetness. It doesn't smell per say but if i am wearing tight pants my underwear get that wet clothes kind of smell. Anyone know what this could be or if it is normal? I am 23 and i have a non hormonal IUD.

Hello, I'm so sorry to hear about you and others issues. I've suffered from this issue for quite some time. Excessive watery discharge is usually a sign of estrogen dominance. Google: estrogen dominance, and see if you have any other symptoms associated with this condition. What is usually helpful for this condition is a progesterone cream. I use one made by Pro-Gest (available on Amazon). Please note, all progesterone creams aren't made the same. The Pro-Gest brand (along with others) comes recommended by Dr. John Lee an authority on hormonal imbalances.  He has written some books on the subject and these titles are also available on Amazon.

I hope this helps and I wish you well.

I can't thank you guys enough for this thread!! Firstly, I'm not alone and secondly I think I have finally found what my problem is. I went through all types of tests last year at hospital on my bladder because I always felt like I needed to urinate as soon as I wasn't near a toilet. All tests came back negative and I thought I was going crazy and it was all in my head. It all stemmed from one day walking away from the pub and getting a sudden 'gush'. I thought I was going to wet myself and it was the worst feeling in the world. Ever since that day about a year and a half ago my life has completely changed. I wear a pad most days and have a constant fear of wetting myself even though I don't need the toilet. Reading through this thread and everything makes sense - you all have the same problems. And being able to realise that it's actually due to wetness that I wear a pad has obviously meant that I can now at least look at ways at treating that.

Just one problem - I live in UK. Where can you get Pinealtonin in UK?!? Help!!!

i have to wear a pad every day the over night heavy duty kind, if i don't my inner thighs get soaked from discharge. I work around people so I don't want to smell of discharge all night. My mom says why are you going through so many pads before you have your period? I guess I am 32 and I should tell her but this has been an on going issue since i have become an adult.

A lot of girls are just always wet.I am a guy but I have went through a ton of dirty panties rarely found dry ones.I have unrolled thousands of panty liners to discover wetness instead of period blood.I must say the clear sticky fluid is delicious

Does this happen all the time or a few times each month? A clear jell like substance a few times each month means you're ovulating.

I am 47 years old and have not reached menopause yet but have been having peri-menopause symptoms for several years now. My periods have become more frequent, sometimes 2 in one month, the duration of my periods are longer and at times I have pretty heavy bleeding, changing a pad several times in one hour. I dont have bleeding between periods. Most recently I am having excess vaginal discharge (clear to milky colored) where it comes out in little spurts and I have begun wearing a pad because my underwear gets damp. I am also having the need to urinate more often at the same time. I also have lower back pain. I have been tested negative for yeast infection and urinary tract infection. I do have a history of uterine fibroids. My Dr is sending me to have a trans-vaginal ultrasound to see if fibroids might be causing these symptoms, can you suggest anything else that this might be caused from? Thank you for your help, S

A. Many times during the perimenopause estrogen levels are not low. But ovulation does not occur and that causes low levels of progesterone because progesterone can only be made from the ovary after ovulation occurs. The extra estrogen causes the cervix (neck of the uterus where the pap smear is taken) to produce much more mucus and some discharge is often associated. All of this is normal and is likely what you have. However, the lack of progesterone can also cause pelvic congestion. The blood vessels swell and cause pressure and low back pain and even some urinary frequency. This is also normal and the most common reason for your problems.

However, other things may also be going on. The ultrasound is a good idea to see if a fibroid is pressing in front on your bladder or behind on your lower back and the nerves that go to your thighs which is what causes pain.
