My Husband is 49yrs old, and has lately (past few months) been having occasional spells very disturbed vertigo. He says he does not feel dizzy when this happens, just 'imbalanced'. When this happens he says he cannot seem to recall the moment it happened, only right before and right after. It lasts for less than about 15 seconds, but it is very disturbing to see this happening to him. He is healthy as far as we are aware. He has had very much fatigue during the day, although he sleeps at lease 7 to 8 hours a night. He has lately become disoriented when speaking. He says this happens rarely, but sometimes he will be in the middle of a sentence and completely forget what he was speaking about, like the entire conversation slips out of his head. I am so worried about him, and he refuses to go to the doctor, he says it is okay! What do I do??! It scares me when I see him blank out like this and stumble into te door, and how he is so tired when I see him. Please does anyone have any ideas to what this could be?
This is probably of little help and you know it already but he needs to get to a doctor right away. He is probably terrified but in denial. but this is unlikely to go away and is probably something that is easily treatable. And if its something more difficult, the earlier you catch it the better. Can someone else like a trusted friend or brother talk to him. They could just say they have noticed changes and suggest getting things checked. Might be worth a try. Good luck
