It in no way means or guarantees you are pregnant. Im 34yrs old I get it too. I have 2 children in their teens. I am not pregnant, I finished my period 10 days ago but have had irritating, sensitive nipples. for about 6 days. Whilst it can be pregnancy, it is daft for ppl to just say pregnancy. Mine is stress related. Im stressed, it messes with my hormones so my nipples become evil bastards.Just cause you have a headache doesnt mean you have a brain tumor.

Hello. I am 17 years old experiencing the same thing. My nipples have been constantly erect for about a week, sore to the touch, and darker than usual. I am sexually active, (almost all of it being unprotected.) I was on birth control, but stopped taking it because it counteracts due to my migraine medicine - Topomax. Therefore, I stopped taking my birth control about a month ago. Usually when I have missed a few days or run out, I get my period right away - usually every 2 weeks. But, my period is a week late. Since off my birth control, this would technically be my two week AND monthly period. But, no period. I have been experience cramping, sensitive nipples, severe hunger all through the day, sleeplessness and if I do, crazy weird dreams, my stomach has been hurting, and I've been very gassy. My stomach area feels harder. I took two home pregnancy test, both of which came to be positive. I went to the doctors to get a blood test, but it was negative.. What the hell is going on? Any form of help would be amazing! Thank you!

This is so weird cause I'm 19 as well. I took a test that came back negative but maybe it's still too early to tell. I've also had random cramps and been eating and sleeping a lot more. I'm not on birth control, but am sexually active.

I'm 18 and Engaged too and we are trying to have a baby. I was on the depo shot for six months and just recently got off of it about two in a half weeks ago. During this week though I have had hard erect sore nipples even when I was hot, I've had mood swings and constipation, but yesterday I started to spot but only when I whipped, after I out a pad on I kept feeling like I was bleeding through the dang thing only to see it was barley a light pink stain. I've miscarried once before and am scarred to take a test in fear it will be negative after all the hope we have or that it will come back positive and I will loose another baby. I've talked to doctors and they say that it may be to early to take a test but should come in for a blood test in the next week or two. Did you ever find out if you were pregnant.

I am 19 too , and my nipples are slightly tingly on and off , hurting , and soar . I have asked and I was told that if you have been on birth control for a while , and you dont take it anymore .. It is a normal side effect from your hormones being in rage with higher estrogen levels .. I have also taken a prego digi test , 8 days before my date im suppose to get my period /i should of 5 days .. and its said ''not preggo''.So it most likely from stopping a form of birth control .. If it keeps persisting , go see your primary or obgyn to check.

The same thing with me, my nipples start to become very sensitive after stopping taking the pill.

I'm 17 and I just began having sex with my boyfriend not even a week ago. I've been on my current birth control for months. The past couple days, I've had really sensitive nipples, when I looked online, pregnancy was one of the number one possibilities. I really want to know why this would be happening other than if I happen to be pregnant, which I'm praying im not.

Also 19 and im thinking this is just something 19 year olds go through at this age. My mom is calling it "their last attempt at growing before theyre done"...im almost leaning toward her explanation...because like everyone else said i know im not pregnant and it doesnt correlate with my period because they have been hurting before, during, and after my period but they havent been sore at all before that for like 3 years

I am 22 having the same problem looked up different causes and can't figure it out. I dont feel pain in my breasts just super sensitive nipples. I have two year old and this reminds me of when i was pregnant, the only catch is i am on birth control so i was wondering if that could cause it, same birth control for 2 years never had this before. Or i was thinking it could be that they are growing. Same bra so dont think its that, no resent changes in anything so it is kind of freaking me out.
